The websites for extra insight into Fairfield are Government statistics through census data, a link between occupation and income levels  http://www.trademe.co.nz/jobs/salary-guide
and finally http://www.enz.org/new-zealand-salaries.html.  There may be other sites that you find as well but these plus the Zoodle.co.nz site allow you to cross reference your data

Congratulations on submitting your first assessment due on Monday at 10.30am. You are moving towards more complex analysis and discussion of data about Fairfeild. One point is to remember  that you will do this under  your teacher's guidance so that you can write the Malaysia based report with more confidence

Make sure you have read the required part of the text book for the next week, pages 46 -59

Fairfield is located in the Hutt Valley of the Wellington region. Students explore the demography of the Lower Hutt region and describe selected features in graphs or tables to compare these features with the rest of New Zealand. The reason for this exploration is students are required to choose n appropriate  sole trader type of business for this local  neighbourhood shopping centre, Fairfield.

See the location of the area in the middle of the image below to be studied in week 3. Wellington city to the right of the image
